We had a lovely time and were well looked after. Not 5* star in the traditional sense but def. a 5* welcome and central location for discovering the Highlands and particularly Balmoral. A hidden gem.
Just called in for drinks and a bite to eat. Nice, quaint unspoilt highland hotel. Food was good and the welcome exceptional. Nicky, his wife and family made us feel most welcome.
Food was fine. Barman and other customers were friendly and pleasant. Bar is dog friendly and we were given a bowl of water for our dog without asking for it.
Quaint little bar with the usual tasty pub food and truly amazing service. Great local music on Tuesdays.

A great local pub and cheap hotel but don't stay Tuesday nights unless you like good traditional music till 1 am.
There is a weekly folk music meet/ open mic. here. I do not eat or drink or sleep there so can't answer except that the standard of the musicians is fairly high. But definately trad. Scottish/Irish folk.
Went in for food. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
